Welcome to The Hamlet Court, our traditional community pub located in the heart of Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-Sea – a popular destination for food, drinks, and shopping. Just a short walk to both the Cliffs Pavilion and the Palace Theatre, our pub is the ideal location for a pre-show meal or post-show drink with family and friends. The bar is home to 5 excellent real ales on tap, including the award-winning Brewers Gold – a local speciality from Maldon. We also have a selection of over 20 whiskies, complemented by our exceptional wine list and cocktail menu.

Absolute must. Service and food are amazing. So friendly and welcoming and compliments to the chef, I finished my meal before my husband, first time ever the meal was that good
Love the place... Have been here for breakfasts on Saturday and had a roast here on a Sunday. Cannot fault the place. So clean, all the staff are friendly and professional with a sense of humour, prices are quite reasonable and food tasty. It seems to be our 'go to' now.
The food in The Hamlet is amazing. The roast dinner is great value for money with beautifully cooked meats and home made Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes. Highly recommended as the dinner has the full works along with a great, relaxed atmosphere and the really friendly and chatty server, Bartolomeo really makes it’s a pleasurable and enjoyable experience
